After you get your new power supplies, use a good surge protector as this may be one of the causes for blown power supplies.

judging by the amount of responses in 1 day, i think this may an issue for Ecotech to address, we pay good $ for these pumps. Ecotech has been a great company to deal with and stand behind there products but this and the wetside magnets always getting fouled up are just an annoying problem.

If your wetside is spinning, it usually indicates that either the ceramic bushing was not set right (there are small notches on the base for the bushing to sit) or the bushing is shot and needs to be replaced.

Is there a picture of the bushings somewhere? I didn't see anything in the owners manual. where does the little nylon washer go?
