Not generally. I've never heard that they did.

as for one of the guys on that post he said they will eat a little of it but i dont no i have only had red legged hermits. and my coraline is developing like crazy. y dont you want the red hermits.?

only thing for sure that will is a urchin,but u dont need coraline in ur tank

yes very true,but wat i meant was its just a sign of a healthy tank/ecosystem- doesnt really benefit anything thou - so if he wants the blue legs he's got nothing to worry bout.
