Aquarium dust???

I have noticed that alot of "dust" has settled on my heater, rocks, gravel etc. I looks like really fine sand, but even finer. Whenever my tang swims by my heater, it stirs it up for a sec then settles again. Can anyone tell me what this is? Anywhere where there isn't much flow, it seems to have settled.

it could be just sand or if you have live rock it could be particles from that. just vacuum it out.

does it look like ur sand, maybe it came off some new rock?

do you dose any form of calcium/kalk? Too much will lead to it settling in your tank

well i don't have sand in my tank so i'm pretty sure it's not that but it's probably from the LR. as long as it's not a bad sign. Thanks everyone.

if u dont have sand in ur tank, its coming from ur LR, its ditrus (sp?) probably

Increase your flow exponentially to rid the detrius.
