could my green carpet eat my powder blue tang?

The green carpet is about 7 inches round. Powder blue is 4 inches.
What do you think?

I cant find the powder blue, I had him for about a month. eating well and doing good. I fed him last night and this morning he was gone. I checked the floors and the sump....nothing

I am thinking it was the green carpet but dont know for sure

Yes the carpet can thats why a lot of people dont like them i love my carpets i just keep clowns in the carpets tank

That are not smart enough to stay away from the anemonie.

Honestly the fish has to actually go very close to the carpet in order to get trapped by it. This usually happens to bottom dwelling fish though.
