I having a problem with my 75gpd RO unit. I just brought a new 14gal tank for the unit and it isn't filling up. I can leave it all night and the most I get is a couple of gallons of RO water the next day. The filters are pretty new as is the membrane and I'm getting 40-50psi on the unit. The tank is also pressurized so that's not the problem. I had the same problem with a 3gal tank and I was told that the bladder most likely lost its pressure so I got a new tank. The only thing I can think is that the tubing is either clogged or it's too long, the auto shuttoff or flow regulator needs to be cleaned or replaced. Anyone know what the problem maybe?

Those proline units don't have a pressure gauge on them, do they?

Assuming you adequate pressure reaching the membrane, turn the valve on the top of the tank off, and disconnect the tube from the tank valve. Run that tube to a container, and time how long it takes you to produce water. Compare that to the result you get from the calculator on our webpage, given your particular pressure and temperature. It may be that your membrane is bad and needs to be replaced.

ALSO - while you have that tube disconnected, line up 6 or 8 identical drinking water cups in front of the system. With that tube in one hand, and your waste water tube in the other, how many glasses of waste water do you fill up in the time it takes you to fill one with RO water?
