Would the Nova sundial t5ho be a good choice for a reef setup with soft corals (mushrooms, cloves, zoa's, leathers and toadstools etc)?

yes, depending on the model and the depth of your tank. it's a decent fixture, comparable to the extreme pro. same contoured reflectors and ballasts.

you should be fine but i would go for a 6 bulb fixture.

incase you want to go with with coral that need more light....

your 46 bow, it's 20 inches tall? if so, with a couple inches of sand, i think you can keep any of those corals you mentioned with ease. like aquatric express mentioned, if you ever get the bug for an anemone/clam/sps, having the 2 extra lamps will be essential.
