What is the best carbon to use in reef

I'm a noobie, but, +1 for Chemi-Pure Elite.

ESV here. Chemi-pure is fine too, but let's be clear Chemi-pure is not actually carbon though it performs a similar function and the Chemi-pure -elite is mixed with an iron based phosphate remover similar to Phosban.

I believe the Ferric Oxide in The Elite version is inferior and exhausts too quickly.I'm a Rowacarbon guy but used ESV as well.

Having a nano chemipure works for me. Everything depends on your tank size.
