Most likely im going with a Remora Skimmer. But who else makes quality hang-on skimmers w/ built in pumps that are quiet. Im in the market to buy a skimmer so i don't want to buy twice because my first purchase is crap so help me out. Thanks.

first we need to know what kinda setup do you have...
but for a hang on skimmer...look into the marine solution msx HOB's...if your system is small...then a remora will work fine also...

WOW Russ that actually looks good. Never thought I'd say that about a CPR skimmer:) Do you know how much air that thing is pulling?

Rich, that was my first reaction too. I couldn't believe it. Then I saw their booth at MACNA and they had one running there. It performed just as good in person as it did on the video. I felt comfortable after seeing it live that they didn't doctor the video in any way.

I don't have the air flow through for you. I'll see if I can get those ratings from CPR.

However, regardless of the air flow, the visual inspection sure causes reason to look more seriously at it. It's totally priced right, not under $200, but under $190 (soon to see an increase btw), includes both pumps and such low electric usage it's totally green.

Deltec MCE300 and MCE600 have great reviews. In addition to the skimmers listed above.
