New Pump suggestions..

hi guys..i just got a seaclone 100...man that powerhead is noisy...any suggestions on a new powerhead..that will be very silent...any help will be greatly appreciated...

What powerhead do you currently have? Is the noise as a result from internal or external vibration? What's the recommended GPH you're looking for?

Includes the Maxi-Jet 1200 Pump...i hate it it is so noisy...hm..it say that they do 295 GPH...

You sure it's not vibrating against something? I only use the MJ1200 to mix water, but it seems and has been reported by others to be pretty quiet.

I used a few MJ1200 in the past with no noise problems. Like Dean said it could be vibration.

I don't know anything about the Seaclone skimmer. Research and see if these would work for you. I have the 800 its quiet. And i use the 3000 external on a closed loop its very quiet.
