well is it affecting your coarl at all? Are they red? If it that small that you need a mag glass I would think that they are acro bugs or flat worms. I just did a google search and found a bunch of things on them for you.

hope this helps

From what i can see they are not affecting the corals yet they just walk around inside the polyps. They are white not red .

Acro bugs will not be on other coral aside from acro's/SPS. Flatworms would be either too blended with its enviroment to see or Dre would have said "i have flat circles on my hammer, i think they are flatworms" not bugs.

dre, without knowing what they are we can't tell you much about how to get them out and stuff. Take the coral out and in a container and try to take a picture. As far as getting them out, if the coral is opening and acting perfectly fine i wouldn't worry about trying to take them out just yet. It might be just normal pods hanging out inside your hammer for safety/food.

Check out melevs reef critter ID page, see if you see anything that it looks like.

Try to take a pic of them. A camera with a good megapixel rating can zoom in very well in photoshop if the picture is clear.

hey bud. if they're just pods they won't harm your coral and in fact they can be food for fish also like the mandarins. for most part they're very beneficial to your tank since they also eat algae in the tank. all they do most of the time are just walk on corals, rocks and everywhere else they can find algae.
