hi guys i have a question would a 24inches pendant with 250w hqi x 2 24w t5ho be enough lighting for a 40gal breeder mix reef would the light spread end to end side to side

it depends how high it is off of the tank. it's enough light. you just have to adjust the fixture to your liking. they say 1 halide for every 2 feet, but if you just put the less light demanding corals towards the outside, it will be fine.

A 40gal Breeder is shallow enough to allow you to raise your 250 up so the spread is greater. Your should be fine.
