i have a 125 gallon tank with a about 10 fish and corals. i would like to start putting a lot more corals in the tank and i think its a good idea to either get a calcium reactor or a kalk reactor but i would like to hear some feedback so i know which one to push toward.
I think the kalk reactor will be more convenient but i want to go with efficiency. so please tell me what your opinion is. Thanks

I would start with a calcium reactor first if your pursuit is to provide for the demands of corals especially small polyp stonies and possibly clams. Eventually you might need to supplement with a kalkwasser reactor.
I run an SPS dominated 120g with about 6 clams and it has both reactors but only started with a calcium reactor. The kalkwasser reactor was added about 2 years later when I couldn't keep my PH up.
With less calcium demand, I only run a kalkwasser reactor for a 300g system that consist of a 180g and 102g tied to a 40g sump. This is mainly fish only with live rock but I do keep a bunch of hammers and frogspawns in this system but the calcium draw is much less and the kalkwasser reactor can keep up with the demand.
One thing you need to remember with kalkwasser reactors is that they might be simple to use but a lot harder to control or fine tune. It might not even work well if you do not evaporate enough water. My kalkwasser reactor has about 4g of top off water going through it 24/7 in the winter and the volume increases to about 6g in the summer time.
