Just wondering if scrubing (lightly) and /or blowing off debris(using small pump) from live rock is a good idea....will it do harm or good? :tub:

if is not too dirty, just leave it, if you must clean it, take it out of the tank, clean it in a bucket of your tank water. If you have corals, the debris can hurt them if not removed properly. Hope this helps.

Blowing's better. It frees up detritus to get caught by filters/skimmers/settle out int he sump, and a lot of smaller-polyped corals and some other corals seem to like sucking up the clumps of bacteria and gunk.
