Mag Drive

I just find out that my mag drive 9 and 18 needle impeller broke into pieces, eventhough they both running properly. i even didnt notice until i try to clean my pump today. they both are consider a new pump. the mag drive 9 is running for 6 months and the 18 only running for a month. anyone having the same problem with mag drive?
i might consider changing a new pump, any input will be great.

No experience with the impellers on the Mag drives, but out of curiousity, are you running them externally or submersed?
