I was just feeding my tank reef plankton when I noticed something unusual on the rock. As a fish swam by the creature retreated into a rock. It is about 3/4 of an inch. It looks exactly like a milipede or whatever you call those critters. It had about ten legs on each side. Also, I am not sure, but I think I have aptasia (if that's what you call it). I noticed, attached to the rock, what appears to be clear tentacles, about 1 inch, swaying with the water flow. What are they?

Hi. Thank you both. DCG, I went to the website you suggested. Alex, I too believe it is a bristleworm. I am going to do my research on them now. I guess I won't be putting my hands in the tank anymore without gloves.
