Vortech MP10 maintenance

How often do you clean your Vortech pumps?
I want to make sure i get the most life out of these pumps.

i guess no one has one of these vortech pumps... or no one cleans them.

I haven't cleaned mine since I got them but I know some people clean them religiously ever month so clean it how ever much you would like.

I cleaned my mp40 once in the past year I guess its the same as mp10

I clean my MP 40 when it gets dirty..or every other water change...

I Would Say Monthly for my MP40
should be the same for mp10

once a month for mine. Under the cap of the wet side it gets some brown goodness in it.

Havent cleaned my MP20 in a year..........guess its about time :tongue1:

It get's dirty pretty fast.Going to get the foam cover and then that needs cleaning

I have spare wet sides. I swap mine out every other month and let it sit in a vinegar bath for a day. Take out next day and wash off.....good as new....:splitspin
