Hi guys I brought a ato reef fanatic with 2 sensors from a member and I installed it recently, the way he told me to install it is put 1 sensor at the level I want it to come on and the other a little lower just in case sensor 1 fails sensor 2 would turn on, i've notices that ato just keeps pumping water almost to a point that I would have a over flow in my sump. Should I just get a jbj , pls help me I would like to use it but I haven't all I been doin now is dumping water manually.

One sensor goes at the level you want it to turn your topoff pump on. The other sensor goes ABOVE it, not below it. The top sensor is to turn it off if the lower sensor fails in the 'on' position.

Whoever told you to do it the way you have it, told you wrong. Just think about it. The way you have it set up is to continually run! Exactly what it is doing. It's running perfect, the way you have it set up. Just wrong.

Ok thanks! I'll try to set it up at home once I get out of work my second ? I hope this ain't dumb ? But how high does the second sensor should be at distance from sensor 1.

Just a tiny bit above the first. You don't want the first one to stick in the 'on' position for too long and dump a lot of freshwater into your tank. So if you can get it 1/2" above the first, try that.

You're welcome. FYI, I really like the RF Level Controller, so when I saw you post that you had issues with it, it really surprised me.
Glad you'll be able to work it out.

You know I've always been here for ya.

Sup guys to keep u updated I checked the settings of the senors and they are set up right the way the user manual says but still not working. I have it set to the first sensor is to top and second sensor set down and mode A. Right now I have it running with. One sensor and it's working great but I want the extra insurance that if the sensor 1 fails sensor 2 shuts off.
