Had a rogue mushroom detach itself from its rock and travel around my tank- ended up attaching itself right underneath my brain coral and seriously stinging it- the brain is not happy at the moment! As soon as I noticed the reason for the brain not looking well I tried to get the mushroom off the rock as best I could- didn't work out so well.
I ended up finally getting it off with a long pair of forceps- but I was wondering what everyone else does when they need to remove something like a shroom, etc. I couldn't chip off the rock there since I couldn't move the brain at the time. Any special techiniques? Thanks!
