Replacement Bulb for Sunpod 150

I need to replace the bulb in my Sunpod and I was thinking of getting the Phoenix 14K 150W. I was researching prices online and came across this some bulbs on ebay.

The seller says they are comparable to CoraLife, Reeflux and Ushio brands. Has anyone ever tried them? I am curious bc they are a fraction of the price of one Phoenix bulb.

If they arent good can someone refer me to the best site I can get the Phoenix bulb from?

Never used the Ebay bulbs ... don't know anyone that uses them ... but I would definitely love to see someone post a picture of them in use.

I personally use the 250W Phoenix 14K, which I just got in from Jim and Russ at SWC ... one best of the best vendors around!

"ebay bulbs" is really a loose descriptive.. some 'real' bulbs like Phoenix, Reeflux, etc. are actually sold on ebay.

I think you're talking about the cheap knock off bulbs, in which case I wouldn't bother. I've heard nothing but bad things about these knock off brand bulbs, some lasting only a few weeks/months, while some have poor PAR values and poor coloration and consistency.

IMO it's definitely good to spend the extra money on the 'real' brands.
