Get the pure ammonia from your local Ace Hardware store. That's what I did and I got one gallon.

It's perfect to cycle a tank.

LMAO.. Playing with pee aw man that's really on the next level of reefing.. People think I do weird things and I would never try that.. I sometimes joke around and say my denitrifier keeps my system so solid I could pis in it,,lmao,,,, But I wouldn't do it..

Ugggg, Thanks for the reminder! That is why although I live 2 blocks from the beach, I will not swim in it anymore. I won't even dip my toes in it.:starfish: I'll stick to MY pool, as peeps pee in public pools too.:supermad:

i heard about it but would i do it ? no.

go to the super market get a cocktail shrimps (the one that come in a ring with salsa) then get a mesh bag put 2 or 3 in it. throw it in the tank for a few days(4-5 days ) wait till ammonia spikes to 1.5ppm or so. then remove it . then watch for nitrite spike, then after that goes down to 0 watch for nitrate spike then when that goes down you should b done/ almost done. make sure all your level 0 out. its a good way to cycle and get the process started.
