Check the coralites out It's not even the same coral.. This might have worked on the newbie,,lmao.. This coral was most likely a A.abotanoides(last pic..)

I wanted that piece so bad.. and to get it and it be in a swamp and rtn ing I wanted to cry.. I spoke with them and ordered another piece.. But the piece I wanted was the last one they had.. I checked all the levels of the water and all I can say is maybe for a fowlr, in a tank from 1978, run without a filter, and that guy with the urine cycling thread might have tried to cycle the water before it got to me,,,lmao.. They were cool about the ne worder but that water in the bag made me want to oiffer the "vets" over there some maintanance help..

Tobin, the water quality in the bag is more then likely the results of the coral decomposing in the bag. I & my gf use to order from them all the time, without any issues like this.
No idea what may have caused the coral to die, but at least they stand behind what they sell unlike many other sites that I could name.

PS I am sure you will come across that same piece again. Probably a nicer, and even less expensive one.

I recently ordered some ricordia from them, was sold to me as 14 polyps, I recieved a "frag" of 3 polyps...they refunded me the whole amount except shipping, but offered to send me a similiar piece at no cost to me, I took the refund, as I had a few other corals with the original shipment....They are the best online vendor, no competition....mistakes are bound to happen from time to time

The clam died when I put gfo in my system a couple days ago.. I forgot too much makes clams pinch.. Oh well, it's being recycled as yellow belly regals first food in my system(bright side)..
