Silicon what brand ?

Hey guys need to know what kind of silicone I can use I'm building my own frag tank it's 8' long 15" high 24" width. All glass .thank you in advance

I'd stick (no pun intended..) with All Glass Aquarium Silicone. It comes in the big tubes that you can use with a caulking gun.

Many LFS's sell it. Some of the larger chains also carry it, I know Pets Supplies Plus does in their bigger stores.
On line is also an option if you aren't in a hurry.

Not always, some have mold/mildew inhibitors in them
Best to go with one you are sure is 100% is reef safe.

+1 again- but if you do go to home depot --make sure the label specifically points out aquarium safe-- BUT you can get the silicon Kathy pointed out for the same price- if not a little less and is meant specifically for aquariums.

If you need something ASAP GE Silicone I is 100% silicone with no additives and can be used. Home depot carries it just make sure it is labeled silicone I

Here's All Glass Aquariums 100% Silicone in Black (nice touch)

Here's Perfecto's 100% Silicone in clear.

Both are manufactured by the top aquarium manufacturers. Both state aquarium safe on the tube. Both are the large caulk gun type tubes. Both are in stock and you can have them in your hands tomorrow (Wednesday) if you order today.

I know this isn't a sales thread, so mods, if you see the need to remove this post, please do so. The original poster was just asking so many questions that were very easily answered with the links.
