Hello guys I have a coral life rodi and been using it for 3yrs with no problem but I have a ? I havnt changed my di in about a year and some months I have a tds meter and I checked my tap water and shows 60 when I check the water coming out it shows 0 ppm should I change my di? My membrane is pretty new as all my other filters . I was thinking of not changing the di since I'm gettin a readin of 0 . Is it possible for the di to still be good?

As long as you are sure your TDS meter is correct (good to check against another reefers if you have one nearby), you should be fine.
It also depends on how much water you make.

I recently changed the membrane in my unit ( I make a LOT of water) and it is easily twice as fast since then...

BTW - how is your yellow tang doing? :)

Lester,

as ong as your meter reads "0" and it's benchmarked against another meter, then you're good to go.

As a rule though, I change out my media when Ai get leary about it's time of use. It is me being a little neurotic, but better safe than sorry I say.

I get about 6 months out of my DI (give or take). My incoming TDS is 32.

Hope that helps,

House
