hey I have my mp40's running for a couple of days now. I finally sync them both for the wave mode. I notice that they are hot. Should I be worried about them over heating?

No the motors will get hot dont sweat it- is the advantage of them if they were a normal powerhead that heat would all go into your water. Theyll be fine. Congrats on getting them running together.
