So im finally able to produce 0 TDS water. I ran my 50gpd 5 stage for 2 days straight filling up many buckets and 4.4 gallon jugs from Nutriwater. After that I let a 45 gallon polyethyline cylinder fill up.

Problem is, after I used up all the jugs Im left with 45 gallons of Ro thats been sitting there with only like 80% of it covered. Id always meant to put an air stone or pump in there but just forgot.

Is it ok to use this water in my reef? What might happen to RO/DI water if it sits still for 10 days-2weeks? I wanna do a 32 gallon WC with a box of Pro-Reef but im unsure about the water.

If it is uncovered, it will get some tds in it. You can always measure it if you have a tds meter. I used to have an uncovered top off container and it added alot of tds to my tank, now that I have it covered, problem solved.

lol ya just cover the thing right? btw theres only like 5% of the cylinder's circle that was open. I look in the crack and I see a few tiny bugs floating on the surface, maybe a lil dust but if i just skim off the top maybe the water wont cause algae blooms or w/e. I wonder if using an airline tube trickled over a fresh polyfilter and chemipure bag would undo anything that letting it stand uncovered may have done. Cant hurt right..
