So I over dosed or double dosed last night.. All my grren corals or purple corals are dark brown with green polyps.. I will continue to dose regular amount while I'm gone but I think I might come home to a tank crash,,lol..
No tank crash but colors are dim.. I'll be doing a dreaded water change about 50 gallons.. The phosphates are at 0.19.. I lost my majestic while I was gone, I guess that's why it's high..
So far Vodka does not work well in a delicate sps enviroment without running carbon.. I'll have to try some carbon as I have a huge reactor just sitting there.. Fowler,,, dump all the vodka you want,,lmao..
For this week the vodka is dead... Vinegar and Kalk is the new experiment... I'll be hooking up my old denitrifier doser and trying vodka next week or the week after that.. Maybe then I'll get a crash..
This thread is dead.. Vodka alone in a big system trying to keep phates around 0.02 to 0.04 is not going to happen.. The amount needed to feed fish a lot will rtn your sps..
I'll be leaving vodka to the fish only people..
Currently dosing kalk and vinegar from a 5 gallon bucket with about 100mls of vinegar corals are doing great..
