Hi everyone,

I'm John, the Live Deliveries manager at Petsolutions.com and I was cruising around your site reading and responding to different threads and I found this one. I wanted to post a correction for you folks that I think you will like.

The free shipping DOES apply to salt. We do not have a freight charge on our salt anymore. So, if you order $199 or more in dry goods, and some or all of that is salt, then your shipping is FREE. I double checked just to make sure before I posted up this response. If you order live items with those supplies, the live items don't count toward the free shipping of your supplies, they are in their own category. You can get free shipping on live marine items if you hit $199 on those as well though.

Could you let me know where on our site it lists salt as still having a freight charge on salt? I want to make sure that if we accidentally left something up that says we do that I can pass it on to our web guy to get it removed from the site.

I'm glad to be a member of the site, I hope you won't mind me sticking my two cents in around here on threads, hehe.

This thread is from 2005. That was the deal back then. Many things have changed since then both here and there.
