dosing with maracyn

ok im fed up with cyano so im going to try maracyn now to try and combat it.how many packets should i use in a total volume of water 50 gal.please i am only looking for a dosage so no posts on it just a cover up or you need to find the source of the cyano.been there done that nothing has helped so this is my last resort.pleasejust give me a packet amount.it is the 200 mg packets

Most likely Po4's Duke.Try checking your RO/DI water.

one packet in 50 gal should do the trick turn off skimmer and take out carbon also maracyn can kill off benifical bacteria something to think about i never had a problem with it always worked for me

really only 1 packet.i will try it.i know to shut all that down the only thing was the dosage.i have checked everything imaginalabe in my system.changed all filters in ro/di and even stopped feeding the tank 4 2 weeks.it comes back in force everytime..like i said its my last resort.
