Egg Crate in NYC?

Does anyone know where I can get egg crates in NYC?

I've tried the Home Depot on 23rd, but they didn't have a clue what I was talking about.

been through that before! haha trick is not to call it egg crate. think they call it light diffuser or something like that, in the lighting section, they probably have it.

Thanks...I just did a search and looks like my best bet is canal plastics. I'll give that a try.

HD has it true they have know idea what it is you have to look in the lighting section

home depot has it in lighting section...You have to look good.

That's right....light diffuser......And if home depot there is like it is here....they still won't have any idea what you are looking for.

hd will have it next to the lumber isle tell them its for florecent lights , had the same problem.

lowes in brooklyn has it - F to smith/9th stop.

HD and Lowes have it, but they only carry the white one. your best bet for black is canal plastics.

you can get it at home depot, its a lighting grid, but you wont find it in black...

haha I remember several times asking home depot telling them that I was looking for eggcrate. The people just shook their head as if i was trying to fool them

I use it for everything.. it holds the sensors for my ATO, i made a lid out of it, it holds my skimmer at the right level in my sump.. you name it
