LED for BioCube

Just got my LED hood for my BioCube- gonna set it up in a little while - Pics to follow before and after shots! Can't wait

Just turned it on - Picture not really doing the lights justice - but I can't see because I'm an idiot and looked into the light - also need a better camera!

third Pic LED White and Blue at 30%

Letting it warm up going to add the zoos and then test out the dimmable drivers

led lights will never catch on "waist of money" how can a light that puts out less heat uses less electric and puts strong light ever catch on! If everone started to use them what would ConEd do! they would have to fire some of their workers. I say MH all the way!!!

please do research before you open your mouth. please spare the rest of MR with your opinions. i have worked with LEDS for several years and they surpassed neon just the first year they were introduced. Lighting technology came a long way since MH. i remember whem people said stay away fom T'5s lol and if you see how that technology came about and also still growing. besides the LED craze! i have leds right now sitting on a board in my closet that have been running for a 2 yrs with a par meter and have seen a .25 drop in par value not like a t5 or mh which cant be compaired lol since they dont last a quarter of the time

Not at all! I can never take tis stuff to seriously - I actually love what I do and love my lights even better- waiting for the dust to clear in my tank and then I will take a few more pictures.
