just cut it and place the frag in a slow flow area so it can stick on to a rock

Frag it out of the tank with a razor blade.

YUp, then attach the frag to a rock with a rubber band and leave it in low flow. It will attach in a short period of time, then remove the band.

you can also cut some tips off if you dont want one huge frag..lol:shhh:

I'd just cut the branches/arms and not cut the main trunk.

No. cut a branch that's about 1" long, and use a rubberband to attach to a rock or disk.

dont bother to glue it because it will come off. I would sew it to the disk the rubber band can come off at some points.

In my experiences, the rubber band will not come off.

i've heard toothpick through the piece with rubberband securing toothpick to rock or disc. I got the advice confused and tried to do that with a mushroom and wound up killing it!
