A lot has been discussed about the ACAN fixtures Mike is selling at Tropical Island in Deer Park on a seperate thread. The ACAN website does say that the A101 and A102 are the US versions of the ECO-Lamps KR91 and 92 respectively. I have a 48" Coralife PC and Looking to upgrade. I'm only looking to get serious with LPS and soft corals and maybe clams in the near future. My tank is a 61" room divider with a bull nose end so I can really only max out with a 48, but the tank is 30" deep. Anybody have any experience with them. would it make any sense to go with a DSB to reduce the water depth?

If you are mostly into LPS, 30" does not seems to be a problem with KR92. PAR is still quite good at that height, however, you should also look at the width/depth of the tank. If you tank is not very wide, then it should cover the edges OK. However, for safety, you should check it out in person in the LIRA meeting where James have them set up in his office where the LIRA meeting takes place.
