Corals at night

What are some great corals to have that come out at night?

Kind of an oxymoron, isn't it?

dendro, sun coral(orange color and black) and there are a few acros but they are very expensive. The last time I saw them they were about 1,000.00 a frag 1-2 inch.

chalice and acans tend to be night creature! at night u can see the chalice have tenticled mouths like acans and the come out to feed

What are some great corals to have that come out at night?

Many Euphyllia change over to 'night mode' and extrude lots of feeder tentacles. I know bubble corals do, and I'm pretty sure frogspawn does -- as to others, I'm not 100% sure. I know hammer coral doesn't.

Acans stay open and enter feeding mode at night. So do favias. Galaxia gets even more nuts and stringy (and stingy!) at night.
