hello good morning mr.. ok i got question i bought a 46 gallon tank for my mom and i'd like to make a hole in the bottom of the tank it doesnt say (tamperesd glass) you think i can make a hole in bottom galss .. pls need some advise here thanks you all ..!!!

sometimes it has the Tempered Glass in an obscure corner at the bottom of the tank, check and make make sure first. Drilling tempered glass will only cause it to shatter. If you are still not sure then check with the manufacturer.
The only 46 I know of is the bow front and if it's that the bottom is tempered.

why would u drill the bottom.you will have more room in the tank if u drill the back
well my mom wants the back cleaned nothing hanging on the back thats why! but if i cant drill on the bottom ill drill in the back...
Yes Keith , oh by the way thanks for lending me your drill bit I used last nght for my other tank and it works great thanks again
I'm glad the bits worked. I've drilled 4-5 tanks with them and I was worried that the diamond coating was getting thin. Obviously these bits last! :smile:
