GSP spreading

Quick question. I have a mat of GSP spreading all over a tonga rock i have. they are coming really close to a group of 3 rics i have on the same rock.. will the gsp try to grow over the rics or around? is there a way to stop the gsp(frag)

stuff is like weeds will grow were ever it wants. try to stop it with kalk

You can cut the matt and offer it to other reefers. You scrape it off with a thin blade.

I had GSP that grew around reg. mushrooms, and rhodactis I'm not sure about rics though.

You can kill off the GSP, but you may end up moving the Rics. GSP is an aggressive grower.

The rics may be able to fight it back. If not, you'll have to take action. I recommend a steel-bristled brush and kalk paste, if you can't just peel the mat off.
