Hey All,

I saw some threads about handling our corals and moving things around without gloves...since I also do this myself I decided to be more cautious and get some gloves. I saw the link for disposable gloves and spoke with one of the owners who will give me a deal.

So the price per box of 100 sleeves(1box) would be $18.00 plus $2.80 - total is $20.80 per box.

Please note payment must be arranged before order date.
Pick up will be at the swap or in Chelsea Manhattan.

The close date for this order is 4/4/10.

I tried searching for them (full sleeve latex gloves) and Google keeps sending me to fetish shops so I stopped researching for them .... :bigeyes::bigeyes2:

The ones in this group buy protect your whole arm without making you clumsy. I plan on using them maybe with the regular short latex glove over for a snugger fit. These are mainly to protect your skin up to your armpit.

Can anyone compare these to the tunze plastic sleeves?
The tunze were complete crap so wondering how these are compared to those.

I will say that if its from the filter guys- they dont sell garbage- I got my RO unit from them- great guys are only 2 of them- a lot like saltwatercritters- answer any question about their products and are great businessmen. nikki count me in and I will be at the swap.

I use these gloves, and they are great. They will pierce easily, so I also use latex gloves on top of these, with a rubber band over cuff, which prevents the thin plastic from getting pierced.

You will have excellent feeling with these gloves on, the bright blue/orange gloves have no feeling, these "reef sleeves" do not prevent you from feeling what you are doing, the draw back to this is that the thin plastic can get punctured easily when moving rocks/etc, hence my explanation about adding latex gloves over the hand....

Bottom line, THEY ARE GREAT!

FYI, these gloves are really made for horses/cows, I will not get into detail about how they are used on those animals, but perhaps a Vet on here can get a better deal?
