should i be worried.clam is on rock and cant be moved and toadstool attached itself to the base of the rock with clam.i dont think the toadstool can hurt the clam but it may irritate it to not open.looks that way now
Wow... I think I merged threads in my head or something!
Ok, not as much to worry about then. The clam can adjust itself a bit if it's really annoyed. Monitor it and see if the clam looks annoyed, but it should be ok.
Toadstools are much easier to move than a clam. Just take a razor and cut off the head of the toadstool. What is left on the rock will grow into another one(won't be irratating your clam for month then);once healed, the cut off head can be grown on to another rock.
it should be Ok, but many leathers produce toxins and a slimcoat which sheds...I always run carbon 24/7 at one cup per 100 gals and change it every 30 days in my tank.....
yeah i run carbon 24/7 as well.change it every 2 weeks.im just concerned caused the clam is staying hidden in the shell.as for fragging, this toadstool is so large i have no where else to put him in my 50.nevermind growing another 1
