Never will I sump a fish again.

Hello Everybody,

For some stupid reason I put a small onyx clown in my sump. He was supposed to go in the frag tank, but that tank is in flux right now so I decided to sump him for a little bit. I contemplated putting him in a little box but felt bad so I didn't do it.

I come home today and I have Onyx Clownfish roll in my Mag5 return pump.

It was the worst feeling using tweezers to get him out. It's completely my fault and he was such a cute fish. Well anyway... moral of the story: Don't be lazy. If you sump a fish... make sure he doesn't jump into the chambers.

i had the same issue with 3 fish this week. mine got stuck to 4000gph pumps.
all i saw was bones!!!
mine jumped in overflow then thru fuge then to bulkhead fittings

I did put a screen on the pump last time and it ended up clogging it up somehow lol.

hey you were trying to do the right thing. lesson learned and ill always keep it in mind as well because i every now and then do the same
