Pheonix 14k 150w de with ice cap ballasts

Anyone running 150w pheonix 14k de bulbs on icecap (hatch) ballast ?

would like your input before I go out and buy these bulbs

My buddy just bought those bulbs not sure what ballast he has, but he thinks there kool bulbs he likes the blue tint on them if that helps any

I'm running 250w DE Phoenix bulbs with IceCap ballasts and I love them. I think I'll be sticking to these bulbs. Here's a FTS of my tank so maybe you can get an idea of what they look like

I dont have an IceCap ballast but I am using the phoenix and I love them! I was using Ushio before these and I liked them too nice crisp and white but when I switched to Phoenix all my colors popped and the corals love them overall! maybe everyones tank is different but the growth and polyp extension and corals staying open longer is phenomenal with these bulbs.
Unlike Ushio which is bright crisp white the Phoenix has a nice subtle blue tint.

I know its off topic but wow Reefs4Life that aquascaping is really cool! Is that a monti on the left? How did you get it to grow like that???

LOL The yellow tang and theflame angel look like they struck a pose for the camera dead center and are deep in conversation LOL

Im not sure what ballast mine is running? I have a 150W SunPod so whatever they install in it.

i had that combo for a while. The Phoenix bulbs are nice to start, but seem (to me) to go yellow after 5 months or so.

i switched to ushio bulbs and i like them better.

Thanks for the compliments guys I had to mess around with the rocks a couple times to get it to look like that and it sucks because now I have to tear it down and move it into my 210, hopefully I can get it to look something like that

Marcella, the thing on the left is just a big green carpet anemone although it would be really cool if it was a huge monti lol
