Storing RO/DI saltwater mix

Can i store my mixed saltwater i used for water change and for how long . I was thing of getting Rubbermaid Brute 44g and fill it with RO/DI water and mix with salt and store it so ever week the water is there to do my water change . Can i store it away and if so how long can i keep it in the Rubbermaid with a lid .

yeah that should be fine. i throw a powerhead and heater in mine. bilbo913 just did a thread on this like a half hour ago

As long as the pail was clean to start with and you don't get anything in there..like bugs or food, it should keep for quite some time.
Do keep it covered.

You want to keep a powerhead in there to keep it areated and a heater.

I use mine for water changes and then just add to whatever is left and make more water. About once a month I totally empty the pail, wash it out and let it air dry.

same here minus the heater.i keep a small maxijet going in a 5 gallon bucket.

Thats what im using now a 5g bucket . I need somthing bigger

Theres 20ish gallon brutes at Home Depot as well, and I think casters too. Im planning on using those.
