doesn't look healthy @ all. my guess is it won't make it. did you acclimate it when you got it? did it ever get into a powerhead?

I dripped it in a bucket for a little over an hour and it never came in contact with a power head when i fist got it it crawled behind that rock and never came out, if its not going to make it id like to remove it asap how can i do this if its still attached to the rock?

If its still attached Id give it a fighting chance. Maybe try doing a water change, removing the rock its on and putting it in a seperate tank set up with the w/c water to try to nurse it back to health with its own lighting if you have it and try getting it to eat some vitamin enriched silversides? If itll eat that is. I wouldnt just give up on it If it was dead itd be mush by now and wouldnt be attached I would think.

But if your gonna remove it from the rock you can put an ice cube in a ziploc bag and touch it around its foot- the cold will make it release or like Rick told me at the swap aim a powerhead at it and itll move or hang it upside down above the water and itll release trying to get back in the water. The first way masterswimmer told me about.

That doesn't look good :(
As mentioned the fact that it is still attached is a plus.

Can you tell us the following about your tank?
Temp
Parameters
What lighting do you have on there
Maybe a FTS too? (especially if it shows where your p/h are)

Is the mouth hanging open and sagging or is it still pretty defined?
The tentacles, what are left, will probably not hold food.
You could try to feed it yourself. Take a really small piece of fresh seafood, shrimp or something similar and hold up to the mouth. Do not try to force it just hold it against the mouth for a while. It may take 15 mins for the nem to surround the food.

If the anemone does fall apart, there's a chance that it'll leave its pedal tissue still attached to the rock. Don't throw this out! Leave it somewhere it can get light, and there's a chance that you'll grow a 'new' anemone.

Have never heard that.....I would double check that.
I think if the nem is puking it's guts out(white mush) then it is done for.
I would def move it to another tank so it does not foul up the tank, and possibly kill other stuff

I have to agree with rookie here! The pic is not very clear, but that does look bad. I'm not sure if the light color I see in the pic is the actual mouth gaping wide, or if it is the center that has turned a light color. Defenitely set up a small tank where you can put it.

Best wishes!!

It happens sometimes. There're multiple accounts out there on peoples' tank logs. Remember, anemones are related to mushrooms and such, and I'm sure you know how those can regrow from tiny amounts of tissue left behind on rock, along with many corallimorphs, so it's not really surprising.
