Wow I can imagine how much fun it was I was looking into going over there but the price is so expensive. But 1 day I will make it How long was the flight??

Price was good 4G's for 2 weeks in a Bure on the water...Diving included at 2 Tank/day Boat Dives for both my wife & I unlimited shore diving and bonus dbl tank night dive...Flight was rough, 14 hrs. from LAX, Landed - 2 hr. car ride, 1.5 hr. boat ride - End Result - PRICELESS

That Tiger - Female Juvenile was in addition to the 7 Bull Sharks that showed up first and then broke out when she showed up....Fiji is Soft Coral Capital of the world....I was in N. Sulawasi, Indonesia last year and this experience has it beat HANDS DOWN.....:shocked1:

No! I wish; cost me two weeks at my timeshare in cozumel for a first class round trip ticket!

Nice, When I was in Roatan (before the Govt. Coup) We did a sharke dive with Caribs., White Tips and Nurse, there was a bunch. But the Tiger scared away everything in it's vecinity. Even the Bulls...on that dive in fiji...(EDIT)

It was tarnsfers, Bure, and dives - airfare was not incld. I sold my weeks in a timeshare for the flight, but flew in style. You can do great on the airfare if you book thru the resort...

That was the hardest thing for me to accomplish. After getting my Cert., it was a pre-requisite for marriage, but, I had to work at it...here's wifey on our last trip...She has improved a lot since she got started..

Are you kidding?! I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to see more pictures! What kind of camera were you using down there? The pictures are really clear.

It varried. These shots are a mix now of a few of my last dive trips. Some are actually a point and shoot with the proper aperature and iso w/ strobes. Others are taken with a DSLR and interchangable dome ports. Mostly, I was using a Nikon D2K with an Aquatica housing, inon d2000 dual underH2O strobes and ultralight mountings and arms...it was either the car or the camera rig - I went 4 the rig...
My Avatar shows the rig with my old strobes (they wre Sea and Sea). Clarity comes with the light U can provide at depth

Well check you out. I looked into underwater housing for dslr's...:letitallo (I can only imagine how much the housing for strobes was. eek!)

So did u have a spear gun cas I wouldn't swim next to a tiger shark with out 1 or atleast a pole to push them away if they get to close
