Does anyone know how to get a yellow fugi ruffle leather off a big rock in my tank on to a smaller movable rock? Cause he is taking up way to much space on a nice rock where I could put a few new SPS's... Please let me know...

You won't kill it.;) But the other thing you can do is take a chisel, and hammer, and break away the piece of rock that it is attached to off of the rock.:)

LOL thats not happening cause it holds up other rocks which have other sps on it and Im not losing them....and Im not going to risk cracking my tank from the bottom I already had a 60 gal crack , I guessing a stress crack so been there done that and it wasnt pritty....

A lot of the time, you can cut the rock itself with clippers or even a saw. However, if that's not feasable, then, yes, just make a nice, clean cut through with a razor. Leathers and most other soft corals are pretty hard to kill.

Also, if you leave -any- tissue on the rock, it may regrow.

LOL I know but the only way that rock is coming out of the tank would be when I didnt want the tank caus its that big and main bottom rock and I dont plan on breaking down anything.. Things are just starting to look good for me and growing...Getting new LED's from Wingo monday morning got rid of (burnt out) crapy skimmer pump and replaced it with a mag 9.5 so now I just trying to get that set right now and then just add more SPS that I want.....
Im thinking cuting it and then scraping whats left on the rock off as best as I can.. And I have to do that with out hitting any sps also lol but I need to do it before it gets even thighter in there.. I thank all of you for your help and suggestions...
