How do you know when its time to service your ro unit?

Your suppose to change the filters I think every 6 months, and the membrane when the tds no longer reads 0. The manufacturer of your ro/di more then likely has recommendations.

The membrane should be good for about 3 years (they are kind of pricey).

You should be changing your cartridges when your TDS reads 1 or more.
Change the membrane when you have changed all of your cartridges and you still have a TDS readind above 1, or when your water is being make very slowly as compared to how it used to make it.

A lot depends on how much water you make as well and what your source water is like

thanks, well my unit is not pushing water out. I took off the membrane cups and put them back on. I even took apart the cold water line to see if there was water running through. Soo my water presure is the same, but im still not getting a flow.
