I can not speak for anything other than the Icecap LED's:
I have 2x 46"(approx) IceCap LED's on my tank(48" Long 120 Gl).

If the MH Lights(2x 250w 14k) are on, the LED's are not visible, and seem to do nothing.

Without the MH's in my sunlit Living room, the LED's are barely visible from far away, but up close the tank has a blue coloring(This means, the sand is Blue, the tank is slightly lit, and the coral color is more dramatic).

Even If I just have my 2x 54w actinic on, the LED's are not visible

At Night, with the apt dark, and LED's on, the tank looks Great! The LED's are very powerful, and it all looks amazing.

IMO, LED's are overpowered by MH lighting, and are only useful when all other lighting is off.

As I stated above, I only have experience with my setup, which contains 2x 250w 14 k MH, 2x 54w Actinic, and 2x 46" IceCap LED

+1. Wingo 40" LED. Basically only help for moonlighting. But if you get more it can be used as supplements.

Thesauce has a metal halide on a BC29 with 2 powerbrites and the blue is definitely visible with the MH on and does not get drowned out. I know that tank is 1/5 the size of your display tank but thought it was worth a mention....

You've built an LED fixture before, why not get 3 or 5W royal blue CREES and make two strips of LED's for your tank, 1 in front of MHs 1 in back?
