hey have ya'll ever noticed asterinas are the #1 star to not follow echinoderm symmetry anatomy every single time you see one? I have seen them in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 leg configurations, Y configurations like a herpolitha tongue coral, its my guess these animals do have a set genetic radial symmetry per genus and are just in various stages of tissue division due to standard fission or tissue insult regeneration (when a fish picks an arm off or something and that split is left to regen)

all different lengths, there's no telling through which transsect the final divisions will split. They are freak starfish of nature and super tiny

regardless of their effects on a tank, and I wouldn't be the least suprised if behaviors range across tanks, isn't it the very heart of supply and demand marketing that Im willing to stone cold pay three dollars apiece for what many of you flush. To me that lends hope the economy will recover, especially for me personally. Soon I will find something I discard that you must purchase to support your hobby addiction lol

I flush a handfull of xenia every month for 30+ months would someone've paid for that?

:)

Completely unconvinced unless seine has a link where this has been studied. This is nothing more than opinion.
I go by wetwebmedia who clearly states they have no evidence of this.

Though I completely understand why people don't trust them. The same reason I don't have any hermit crabs.
