Skimming too much?

For the past week my skimmers been pulling almost a full waste cup of tea colored water out everyday, is this a good thing or should i be worried about why its pulling out so much?

well how big is the tank and how big is the skimmer how many gallons is the pump pulling and how much is the pump rated for.

I think you need to adjust the skimmer.
