Great Service for my Chiller!

Just wanted to give a shout out Keith over at Kool Tanks. I bought a used drop-in chiller and unfortunately it turned out that not only was it out of freon, but there was also a crack in the coolant casing. Keith fixed it up for me much faster than I expected, and the bill was beyond fair for the amount of work that he had to do (the crack was really small and it took him forever to find it).

Suffice it to say I was extremely happy with the results! Just in time for the warmer weather that's supposed to come our way again. :flower:

Is this someone local that came to service your chiller or did you send it out?

Keith lives in Jersey, but he is in Manhattan for his day job almost on a daily basis. I work in the city too, so I just brought my chiller to work and handed it off to him. I got it back from him about a week later, and he was nice enough to drop it off near my office.

Depending on what's wrong with your chiller I'm sure that he's willing to make a house call. I thought mine just needed a "recharge," but he told that the freon should last for many years (think how often you need to recharge your fridge), and that if it doesn't get cold anymore it's probably a leak.
