Thought I Had it Down Until........

I checked everything, salinity, made sure all electric plugged in, timers right, rock was set right, sand was perfect, until I started everything and I did not have enough water! I am missing about 2 inches from the top to the over flow. ARRRGHHH. I literally spent all weekend on my first ever 90 gallon reef. I am taking a day off tomorrow whheww. Back to the RO again slowly but surely it will flow.

When I do pluming or a big change to the tank, I added a new skimmer a week ago I always take a day off, just to play it safe good Idea

get some plastic soda bottles or gallon milk jugs...fill with fresh water, seal, put in tank/sump to displace water!

happen to me a couple of times.. made saltwater and when doing a water change, found out I didnt have enough.. ahh... lol.
