So I have always used my refractor. My salinity has always been 1.025 in my tanks using old refractor. I won the true seawater refractor from the frag swap which I received yesterday. This refractor is very nice. But the only problem is that since it measures true seawater(apprently measure salinity diffrently than stanard refractors), the salinty on this unit is reading 1.023. My question is should I leave salinty at 1.023(1.025 on old unit) since it's been like that for years or should I raise it up to the 1.025(1.027 on old unit) which is the salinity level I thought it has been at. Is 1.023 a safe salinity level or is it too low.
